Rising star

A special award for an outstanding individual in the early stages of their career. This person could be highly professional, an inspiration to others, committed to getting things done, able to effectively communicate complex analysis, willing to go that extra mile, or simply being a fantastic support or team player.

Criteria:
The nominated person could be a highly skilled professional, an inspiration to others, committed to getting things done, excellent at communicating complex analysis, willing to go that extra mile, or simply a fantastic support or team player.

Eligibility:
May be entered by any IoF member fundraising organisation (in tandem with their supplier where appropriate). The supporting evidence should be drawn primarily from the calendar year 2018. The individual may work for either a fundraising organisation or supplier.

Why should the nominated person win? Please provide three characteristics or reasons that summarise what sets your submission for Rising Star apart from the rest of the field. (200 words max)

Background and context:
Describe the role that the individual currently performs and outline their career path to date. (200 words max).

Strengths of the individual:
Describe the qualities that make this individual stand out in their organisation and among their peers. Give examples of outstanding performance where relevant. (400 words max). Please note that it will be necessary for nominating organisations to provide a photograph of the individual should they be shortlisted.

Nomination Summary
Please provide an approved summary of your entry - this summary will be published in the awards ceremony programme if your entry is successful. (100 words max).


Supporting Image Upload
Please attach an image, such as a photo or logo, to illustrate your nomination on the website and printed materials should your entry be successful.
The file should be in JPG, BMP or PNG formats, big enough for use in printed material, but not greater than 2MB in size.
The image file should be titled with the name of your organisation plus the name of the relevant award category.

You may attach up to three supporting documents.
The file should be in PDF, DOC, XLS or PPT formats, in total not greater than 2MB in size.
