We're looking for work that demonstrates best practice in the use of data analysis. This could be a traditional, tried and tested form of analysis done well, or it could be a shiny new method of analysis that you've created.

Criteria:
Any project where insight has been gathered entirely or predominantly through data analysis.

Eligibility:
May be entered by any IoF member fundraising organisation (in tandem with their supplier(s) where appropriate). The majority of the project's time span must fall within the calendar year 2018.

Name of entering organisation(s):

Title of campaign / project / initiative:

Project start and finish dates:

Strengths of your entry:
Why should your entry win? Please provide three characteristics or reasons that summarise what sets your data analysis project apart from the rest of the field. (200 words max)

Objectives/background context:
Describe the circumstances in which the project was initiated. What were the challenges faced by the organisation; what business drivers shaped the resulting goals - and what were those goals? (200 words max).

Methodology:
How was the initiative developed to achieve its objectives? What was smart about the approach to the solution? Describe the data strategy adopted; summarise the testing, measurement and evaluation techniques used. What issues were encountered and how were they addressed? (300 words max).

Results and insights:
Summarise the key results and insights delivered by the project. Did they conform to expectations and/or targets, and if not, how? What benefits (direct and indirect) were delivered to the organisation by this project? Specifically, how did it impact on your fundraising effectiveness? Please note that the provision of results is vital for the judging process and must be supplied. If you do not wish specific results to be published, please indicate this. However, please do consider providing measures that can be made public to explain why your project was successful, for example, by indexing etc. (300 words max).
