Making a nomination is simple and free of charge - it's just a question of deciding how many you'll make!†

Great insight can bring tremendous impact and influence to fundraising, through strategy, innovation, successful campaigns and fundraising performance, motivated teams and individuals... and this is your opportunity to gain recognition for inspired work. This year we've widened the scope of the entry categories so there should be no difficulty finding one to suit!

How to make a nomination

Select one of the categories listed towards the bottom of this page.

NominateClick on the 'nominate' button next to the appropriate category and simply fill out the online form, completing ALL of the requested information and explaining why your nomination deserves to win.

Supporting materials should be attached to each entry using the button integrated into the form. Make sure your nomination is sent by 6pm Friday 7th April.†

What happens next?

Once we have received your nomination you will receive a confirmation of receipt by email.†Your entry form(s) will then be reviewed by the judging panel in April. All shortlisted entries will be notified shortly afterwards.

The winners will be announced at the IoF Insight Awards 2017.

For work that generates powerful and valuable insights using established methodologies, while demonstrating best practice.

Most Powerful Insight using Innovative Methods of Data Analysis
For work that breaks new ground in data analysis for fundraising.

Best Use of Data and Analysis in Digital Fundraising
For insight driven fundraising in which digital is a substantial element, whether it be pure social/email, or multichannel engagement insight. Particularly of interest would be submissions where digital insight has helped shape supporter understanding or generate income uplift, however all entries involving insight into digital activity are welcome.

Most Powerful Insight through Research
For work that demonstrates outstanding use of market and/or supporter intelligence derived from research.

Most Powerful Use of Insight by a Small to Medium Income Charity
This award is for small to medium charities recognising that they do not always have the budgets or dedicated insight teams that larger organisations have at their disposal

Most Powerful Insight from a Long-Term Strategic Project
For analysis projects with a lifespan of two years or more.

Team of the Year
This award is for a team of highly motivated and professional individuals who have worked well in strong collaboration to deliver a highly regarded insight and analytics programme for their organisation. Teams may include supplier organisations where relevant.

Supplier of the Year
Recognising the marketing service provider or agency that helps a charity achieve exceptional results, time after time.

Rising Star
A special award for an outstanding individual in the early stages of their career.

Outstanding Contribution
A special award that recognises an individualís unique long-term contribution to insight and analytics in the fundraising sectors.
